MOVEMENT AND STILLS
The collective Solothurner Tanztage tries to help immigrants to have an easier way to meet and integrate to the swiss society with the slogan “break boundaries by dancing”.
This is an passion project from dancers around Solothurn. Many of the dancers and dance school teachers have an immigrant background and they all had positive experience with the dance community, which helped them integrate into the daily life. I had the beautiful chance to meet, interview and hang out with the participants of this projects. There were some difficulties with the language barrier but since dancing is an universal language, there was no need for words.
